Every federal grant program is run by a federal agency, and that agency is the only authoritative source for application status, eligibility decisions, and award notifications.

If you were contacted by someone claiming to represent a federal "grant office" and asked to pay a processing fee, wire money, or share bank credentials, that is a scam. Federal grants never require an application fee, and the government will not call you out of the blue offering free money.
Report grant scams to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and to your state attorney general. If you believe you were a victim of identity theft, file a report at IdentityTheft.gov.
