GovernmentGrant.com is an independent commercial website. We earn revenue through display advertising only. This page discloses our advertising relationships in plain language so you can evaluate any commercial signal on the site for yourself.

Display advertising

We display ads through the Google AdSense advertising network. All ads are labeled with "Advertisement" or "Sponsored Links" so they can be distinguished from editorial content.

The specific ads shown on any given page are selected automatically by Google based on the page content and, where applicable, the visitor's interests. We do not pre-approve individual advertisers, and we do not know in advance which advertisers will appear on any given page. We do not endorse the products or services shown in those ads.

If you see an advertisement on this site that appears deceptive, that promises guaranteed grant approval, or that asks for sensitive personal information up front, please report it to us so we can attempt to block the advertiser, and report it to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov. Government grant scams are common, and we take steps to keep them off the site, but Google's ad network is large and bad actors occasionally slip through.

We do not run affiliate programs

We do not currently participate in any affiliate programs. We do not earn commissions when you click outbound links on this site, including links to government agencies, third-party services, or any other destination. Outbound links are editorial recommendations only — they exist because we think the destination is useful, not because we are paid when you click.

If we ever change this and begin participating in affiliate programs, we will update this page and label affiliate links clearly. For now, every outbound link on the site can be treated as editorial.

We do not accept paid editorial coverage

Advertisers cannot pay to be mentioned in our editorial content. We do not run sponsored posts, paid reviews, or "promoted" grant programs. The grants and programs we cover are selected based on what we believe is most useful to readers, not on any commercial relationship.

What this means in practice

Federal and state grant programs are free to apply for through the issuing agency. We always link directly to the official source — Grants.gov, StudentAid.gov, or the relevant agency website — so you can apply without going through any intermediary or paying any fee.

If anyone — including a website that imitates ours — asks you to pay a fee, provide a Social Security Number, share bank account details, or send money in order to "claim", "release", or "guarantee" a grant, it is a scam. Report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and let us know at infoservicesinc@gmail.com.
