Our mission
GovernmentGrant.com exists to make the process of researching and locating government grant programs simpler and more transparent. The federal grant landscape spans hundreds of programs across dozens of agencies, with rules, dollar amounts, and deadlines that change regularly. We track those changes and present them in plain language alongside direct links to the official application sources.
Who we are
GovernmentGrant.com is owned and operated by Information Services Inc., a Canadian company based in Toronto. We are a small, independent publisher of informational websites. We are not lawyers, grant writers, government employees, or financial advisors.
How we make money
GovernmentGrant.com is a privately owned commercial website. We earn revenue through one source:
Display advertising through the Google AdSense network. All ads are labeled as "Advertisement" or "Sponsored Links."
We do not run affiliate programs. We do not earn commissions on outbound links to government agencies or any other third party. We do not charge users for any information on this site. We do not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage. We do not sell user data.
The grants we describe can be applied for directly through the issuing agencies — usually at Grants.gov, StudentAid.gov, or the relevant state or local agency website — without going through any service or paying any fee. If anyone offers to "help" you apply for a federal grant for a fee, you should be skeptical: federal grants do not require paid intermediaries.
What we are not
GovernmentGrant.com is not a government agency. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by:
The U.S. Department of Education. The Small Business Administration. The Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Department of Health and Human Services. Any other federal, state, or local government body in the United States or any other country.
The use of the word "government" in our domain name reflects the subject matter we write about. It does not signal any official status.
We do not process grant applications. We do not make eligibility determinations. We do not have access to government grant databases beyond the public information available at Grants.gov, USASpending.gov, and similar public sources.
Editorial standards
Every page on this site lists the date it was last reviewed. Grant amounts, eligibility criteria, and deadlines are verified against primary sources — the issuing agency's official website — before publication and re-checked at least annually. Where we cite a specific dollar figure, deadline, or eligibility rule, we link to the official source so you can verify it yourself.
Display advertising does not influence what we cover or how we cover it. Advertisers cannot pay to be mentioned in our editorial content, and we do not know in advance which specific advertisers Google AdSense will show on any given page.
If you find information on this site that appears to be out of date or inaccurate, please contact us so we can verify and update it.
A word on scams
Government grants are a target-rich category for scammers. If anyone contacts you claiming to represent GovernmentGrant.com — by phone, email, or text — and asks you to pay a fee, provide a Social Security Number, share bank account details, or send money in order to "claim", "release", or "guarantee" a grant, it is not us. Federal grants are never offered this way. Report scams to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov and let us know at infoservicesinc@gmail.com.
