Grant Description
NRCS request applications for the Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. For FY2008, up to $240,000 is available for the State of New Mexico Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) program. Grants to eligible entities and individuals may not exceed a maximum of $75,000 from New Mexico NRCS. New Mexico funds will be awarded through a statewide competitive grants process. Applications are requested from eligible government or non-government organizations or individuals for competitive consideration of grant awards for projects between one and three years in duration. This notice identifies the objectives for the CIG projects, the eligibility criteria for projects, and associated instruction needed to apply for CIG. See attached Program Announcement
