Grant Description
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is a part of the new NIH Common Fund program, Illuminating the Druggable Genome (IDG). The goal of this program is to increase the understanding of the properties and functions of poorly characterized and/or un-annotated proteins within four of the most commonly drug-targeted protein families. The IDG will include two components, the Knowledge Management Center (KMC, to be supported under this FOA) and the Technology Development Initiative (to be supported under a companion FOA, RFA-RM-13-010).
