Grant Description
Purpose. The specific purpose of this FOA is to develop revolutionary technologies that will enable in vivo imaging or analysis of epigenetic changes. The epigenetic features of interest include epigenetic marks, modifying enzymes, effector molecules, the activities of these molecules, or other measures of chromatin state. Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the R01 grant mechanism. Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. A total of $3.5 million in FY 2010 funds has been committed to support this FOA. The anticipated number of awards under this FOA is 7-10. Awards issued under this FOA are contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.
