Grant Description

The purpose of this FOA is to encourage the submission of applications proposing to use human stem cells to develop methods for generating replacement cells and transplantation techniques for the treatment of ocular diseases and disorders. Studies may include elucidating the mechanisms required to direct stem cell differentiation into specialized ocular cell lineages.
