Grant Description

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting grant (R01) applications for preclinical research projects that can be conducted with accelerated pace from the drug discovery stage to the early development stage, with the ultimate goal of identifying new molecular entities (NME) as candidate compounds and moving them closer to gaining FDA approval of safe and efficacious medications for the treatment of substance use disorders (SUDs).
