Grant Description
Purpose. The purpose of this FOA is to solicit applications utilizing systems biology approaches to interrogate and integrate multiple complex databases in order to discover new paradigms that may lead to unanticipated avenues of research at the interface of HIV/AIDS and substance use and abuse. Mechanism of Support. This FOA will utilize the R01 award mechanism. Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards. A total of $4.5 million has been set aside for this FOA. It is anticipated that 5-8 R01s could be funded. Awards issued under this FOA are contingent upon the availability of funds and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.
