The Hopi Tribe has completed the development of protocols for a Hopi long-term monitoring program for resources of traditional cultural value in the Grand Canyon (A Hopi Long-term Monitoring Program for иngtupqa (The Grand Canyon), 2007). These protocols were presented to and approved by the Technical Work Group of the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program on June 25, 2007. In the 2008, the Hopi Tribe conducted its first official year of implementation of the monitoring protocols and this work has been conducted annually ever since.
