Grant Description
The objective of this FOA is to invite eligible applicants to leverage available funds and resources by cost sharing with Reclamation on activities that will do one or more of the following: ╔Promote the preparation of written water conservation management plans that will lead to subsequent implementation of conveyance, measurement, or operational improvements which will conserve water, increase water use efficiency, or enhance operational efficiency. ╔Implement activities identified in a written and Reclamation reviewed water conservation management plan. ╔Demonstrate new or previously unknown water conservation management technologies and practices. Reclamation has developed a selection process that systematically evaluates the merits of funding requests to assure that funds are directed to the activity or activities that best meet WCFSP objectives within the geographic area of the WYAO. Eligible activities will be selected through a competitive, ranking process and will be rated using the evaluation criteria in Section V which focuses on achieving the outcome identified in this FOA.
