Grant Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for a Grant/Cooperative Agreement pursuant to the authority of Water Supply, Reliability, and Environmental Improvement Act, Title I п California Water Security and Environmental Enhancement, Public Law 108-361 and Public Law 111-11, Section 9504(a).. The principal feature of the work is to invite Indian Tribes, irrigation districts, water districts and other organizations with water or power delivery authority to leverage their money and resources by cost sharing with Reclamation on urban and agricultural projects that improve ecosystem health, water supply reliability or water quality of the California Bay-Delta through water use efficiency and conservation. Period of Performance is a two year period from the date of issuance. R13AF20004 will be posted on the GRANTS.GOV web site, at www.grants.gov, on or about November 14, 2012. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is on or about January 9, 2013. The FOA must be downloaded at the above web site. No paper copy of this announcement will be distributed. Lack of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database will make an applicant ineligible for award. Prospective recipients must be registered prior to award. Information on SAM registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov. Questions concerning this FOA should be directed to Leanne Henderson at lhenderson@usbr.gov.
