Grant Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to San Luis & Delta Mendota Water Authority, under the authority of catalog for domestic assistance (CFDA) 15.512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(d). Estimated amount: $480,775.00. Reclamation proposes the development of the Refuge Water Supply Augmentation Program to identify new opportunities, such as, water supply acquisitions and diversification projects south of the Delta. The program objective is to identify meaningful short and long term opportunities, such as, identifying additional sources of water to either purchase or make available via diversification, and help reduce escalating wetland water acquisition costs, through the development of an expanded network of potential local suppliers.
