Grant Description
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) solicits applications for support of mature structural biology resources that NIGMS supports at synchrotron facilities. Mature means the technologies being made available at the resources are established and at a level that will require only implementation, not novel development, of new technologies to maintain existing state-of-art beamlines. The intent is to provide access to X-ray beamlines for structural biology research. It is expected that the facility will be maintained or upgraded to current best practices, make its capability and availability known to the biomedical research community through outreach activities, and provide user training and support. This FOA is limited to applications requesting support for existing synchrotron-based resources whose operations have been supported by NIGMS funding.
