Grant Description
The purpose of this FOA is to encourage institutions in eligible low-and middle-income countries (LMIC) to submit an application for a planning grant under the Fogarty HIV Research Training Program. This program supports research training that will strengthen the HIV research capacity of institutions in low-and middle-income countries (LMIC). The planning grant application must propose a plan to develop the components necessary for an application for a research training program to submit to D43 FOA (PAR-13-126). In developing an application for a planning grant, applicants need to be familiar with the objectives and special requirements of the research training program as defined in the D43 FOA.
