Grant Description
The overall goal of NIH-supported career development programs is to help ensure that a diverse pool of highly trained scientists are available in adequate numbers and in appropriate research areas to address the Nation's biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs. This FOA: Promoting Careers in Aging and Health Disparities Research (K01) is limited to applications for career development in support of health disparities related to aging. This FOA is responsive to the NIA Health Disparities Strategic Plan and will help to build capacity in aging and health disparity research.
