The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to encourage Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant applications from Small Business Concerns (SBCs) and academic partners that will focus on innovative technologies and strategies to improve HIV envelope protein expression, yield and rapid universal purification platforms that would meet the requirements of regulatory agencies for clinical research use. Such technologies should have commercial potential.
