Grant Description

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is being issued by the NIH Adherence Network through the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), with participation from the National Eye Institute (NEI), the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) and the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM). This FOA encourages Exploratory/Developmental Research Project Grant (R21) applications for research and development of novel, practical interventions to improve adherence to medication.
