Grant Description
The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) invites applications to support the secondary analysis of existing data sets relevant to diabetes and endocrine and metabolic diseases; digestive diseases and nutrition, including obesity and eating disorders; and kidney, urological, and hematological diseases. A major subject of this announcement is the support of research on overweight and obesity. The goal of this NIDDK program is to facilitate performance of short term projects that explore innovative approaches that are not readily supported by other funding mechanisms and that can be conducted using existing data sets.
