Grant Description
Personnel from GGNPC and NPS will collaborate on mapping and monitoring of sensitive species, conducting inventories, public outreach, native plant restoration, invasive plant control and other restoration activities. Throughout GGNRA lands in San Mateo County, native plant installation and invasive plant removal is needed to improve habitat, especially for federally listed species such as the HickmanДккs Potentilla and the California Red-Legged Frog. The actions proposed in this project are to collect native plant propagules, grow plants in a native plant nursery, plant native plants, remove invasive plants, conduct monitoring and inventory activities, engage in public outreach and provide natural resources project support as needed.
