Grant Description
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is engaged with NPS in the work of the Institute at the Golden Gate. The Parks Conservancy, through the Institute at the Golden Gate, focuses on positioning parks and public lands as part of the solution to major societal challenges such as our healthcare crisis, climate change, unsustainable food systems, and urban development. Based in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in the densely-populated Bay Area, the Institute at the Golden Gate has focused much of its work on the role and benefits of parks in cities.
