NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service (NPS), intention to fund the following project activities. ABSTRACT Funding Announcement: P11AT32009 Project Title: Three Dimensional visualization of Denali National Park•À_s Dinosaur dance floor. Recipient: Alaska Geographic Principle Investigator: David Tomeo Total Anticipated Award Amount: $35,250.00 Cost Share: N/A New Award Or Continuation: New Anticipated Length of Agreement: 5 Years Anticipated Period of Performance: April 30, 2011 •À_ September 30, 2015 Award Instrument: Cooperative Agreement Statutory Authority: 16 U.S.C. •À_1(g): The National Park Service may in fiscal year 1997 and thereafter enter into cooperative agreements that involve the transfer of National Park Service appropriated funds to State, local and tribal governments, other public entities, educational institutions, and private nonprofit organizations for the public purpose of carrying out National Park Service programs pursuant to section 6305 of title 31 to carry out public purposes of National Park Service programs. CFDA#: 15.944 Substantial Cooperation and Involvement by NPS The NPS will be centrally involved in this agreement and will cooperate with all involved partners. The NPS (DENA) is solely responsible for delivering the dataset in a usable format. The NPS will jointly participate with partners in integrating the dataset, designing the visualization, providing ongoing educational review of the building of the visualization interface to ensure that it integrates seamlessly with the existing MSLC exhibits, and evaluation of product effectiveness.
