Grant Description

This grant makes up to $3 million available to plan, implement, and/or enhance the ability of tribal victim assistance programs to support American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities to improve their ability to identify the needs of crime victims and the types of victimization on which to focus; provide direct services to victims of crime; and address the needs of unserved and underserved victims, particularly those victimized by crimes such as child abuse, homicide, elder abuse, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and gang violence.
