Grant Description
This project is issued to stimulate engineering research and development of technologies that bear an acoustical resource managment and noise regulation in protected natural areas. This agreement with Colorado State University will support the responses of wildlife to road noise, variation in sound propagation in response to verifying atmospheric conditions, and methodology for establishing long term acoustical monitoring plans. This action, issued on a sole source basis, will result in a task agreement to the Colorado State University under its Rocky Mountain Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit H2370094000.
