Grant Description
The task agreement, issued under the terms of the CESU Cooperative Agreement H2370094000, will allow for conduct of a modeling analysis to assess the impact of climate change on park air quality, focusing on changes in ozone, nitrogen deposition, and haze The simulations will be conducted using the global National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) coupled chemistry-climate model driven by archived projected emission and meteorological scenarios for 2050 from the Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP) inventory. Multiple future emission and meteorological scenarios will be used to develop a range of results to provide a measure of the uncertainly in the modeling analysis. This action will be issued on a non-competitive basis to Colorado State University under the existing Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit Cooperative Agreement NO. H2370094000. This is a notice of intent of a non competitive award in accordance with Department of Interior Policy, Department Manual 505DM2.
