Grant Description

Public Law 111-11 (Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009) established the Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area and designated Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area, Inc. as the management entity for the heritage area. This legislation and its legislative history indicate the intent of Congress that the award be restricted to Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area, Inc.
