Grant Description
This is a Notice of Intent to award a non-competitive Task Agreement under the Gulf Coast, Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) Master Cooperative Agreement (H500002A271) in accordance with Department of Interior, 505 Departmental Manual 2.12C. Three Roof Ruin and Widows Ledge have been closed to the public, yet open or closed these sites continue to experience damage to structures, the destabilization of rock walls, poor sanitation, and ubiquitous graffiti. Cultural sites along the shoreline are experiencing unacceptable impacts. The purpose of this project is to review and build upon current literature and survey field experts to identify the most effective methods for protecting cultural sites from adverse or unacceptable impacts.
