Grant Description
This is a notice of intent for a noncompetitive award in accordance with Department of the Interior Policy, Departmental Manual 505DM2. The Vancouver National Historic Reserve, which includes Fort Vancouver National Historic Site, Pearson Air Museum, Officers Row and the Water Resources Education Center, is a major tourism destination in southwest Washington which hosts over 1,000,000 visitors annually. The City of Vancouver, Historic Reserve Trust, and National Park Service have been partners in the Vancouver National Historic Reserve since 1996 and work together on a wide variety of plans, education programs, special events and infrastructure development. The three partners each own and/or manage tourism-related venues on the Reserve. The purpose of this agreement is to create and design a Group Tour Plan that outlines the roles and responsibilities of each Partner in supporting the tourist demand for tours of the Reserve.
