Grant Description
This action will result in a task agreement award under the National Park Service Gulf Coast Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU). This is a Notice of Intent and a Non-competitive Award IAW DOI 505 DM 2.12C. Please see attached Full Announcement for more information. The purpose of this project is to assess the current site conditions and stabilities of five archeological sites with Canaveral National Seashore undergoing coastal erosion caused by storms, high water events and boat wakes. This project will define preferred alternatives for low-cost and low-impact site protection and stabilization in consultation with Native American Tribes and the Florida SHPO.
