Grant Description
This is NOT a request for applications. This is just an announcement that NPS is fulfilling its legally mandated requirement to provide assistance to the John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor Commission for their work on the John H. Chafee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. Specifically, the recipient will: 1. Use funds made available under this task agreement to support the NHA in a manner consistent with the legislation. 2. Implement the Management Plan in accordance with the terms of the Agreement and the Legislation as described in Attachment A п Work Plan and Budget. 3. Conduct public meetings at least semiannually regarding the implementation of the Management Plan. 4. Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, including, but not limited to, the National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act. 5. Prepare compliance documents for NPS and/or State approval.
