Grant Description

This is not a request for applications. This is just an announcement that an existing cooperative agreement with this cooperator is being modified to include their work on the Schuylkill River Greenway National Heritage Area. Specifically, SRGA agrees to: 1. Develop partnership initiatives for the Parks and Park Partners in the region. 2. Develop and execute various training programs and workshops for Heritage Areas, Friends Groups, National Park Directors, and Qualifying Organizations. 3. Implement the management plan in accordance with the terms of the agreement and the legislation as described in Attachment A п FY13 Workplan and Budget. 4. Coordinate with units of local government, regional planning organizations, and nonprofit organizations. 5. Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, including, but not limited to, the National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act. 6. Encourage by appropriate means, economic viability that is consistent with the purposes of the NHA.
