Volunteers will be utilized for this work to the greatest extent possible. Trained and experienced volunteers enrich the types of studies envisioned under this agreement. Youth programs, including programs will be geared specifically toward youth with a focus on outdoor activities such as archaeological fieldwork and talks and tours to actual trail and historic resources. Thes project is not required for any compliance aspect of BLM and no deliverable is required. This work will support proactive cultural resource management activities that meet the public outreach objectives of BLM's cultural resources and National Historic Trails management programs.
