Grant Description
Provide youth the opportunity to connect with the natural world through completion of natural resource projects on Federal lands within the Prineville District in Oregon. These projects will provide youth with positive work experiences, development of work skills, a sense of personal responsibility, and a commitment to natural resource education. The projects associated with this opportunity will fulfill the intent of ARRA by creating meaningful jobs for youth, and encourage a long term community service commitment and the potential for future employment of youth in natural resource management.
