To monitor Federally Threatened Sidalcea nelsoniana (Nelson's checker-mallow) population at Walker Flat ACEC in order to provide scientifically and statistically sound information on population trends to land managers. The fundamental question is whether the Sidalcea nelsoniana population is decreasing at the Walker Flat ACEC.
