Grant Description
The Government of Mexico has prioritized policies that address the root causes of violence, including the multi-agency, countrywide National Violence and Crime Prevention Program. As part of these efforts, INL has been asked to support applied research programs that could potentially decrease the likelihood that participants will engage in drug use or criminal behavior. As part of these efforts, INL Mexico funded the creation of a network of clinical trial рnodesс to promote research in this area and its immediate application in clinical settings, and supported a bi-national prevalence study on the U.S-Mexico border to determine consumption patterns among Hispanic population on both sides.
