Grant Description
This announcement solicits applications for the State Systems Development Initiative (SSDI) Grant Program. The purpose of SSDI is to develop, enhance and expand State Title V MCH data capacity to allow for informed decision making and resource allocation that supports effective, efficient and quality programming for women, infants, children and youth, including children and youth with special health care needs.Ф Applicants should note the purpose of SSDI was modified from previous grant cycles to reflect its alignment with efforts in the HRSA, MCH Services Block Grant to States program.Ф These efforts seek to ensure the continued effectiveness and readiness of Title V-supported programs in responding to the changing needs of the nationкs MCH population.
