Grant Description

This funding opportunity is offered to support collaborations between State IV-D agenciesand ACF's Assets for Independence (AFI) program grantees that assist low-income parents (and individuals) by providing financial education that includes child support information in its curriculum and assisting in the building of Individual Development Accounts (IDA) that can be used for specified assets (education, homes and small businesses). This FOA does not require the 5 percent cash/in-kind match that has been normally required for Section 1115 grants.
