Grant Description

The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement is to establish by cooperative agreement a National Resource Center for In-Home Services (NRCIHS). NRCIHS will serve as a member of the Children's Bureau's (CB) Child Welfare Training and Technical Assistance Network (T/TA Network) which is designed to improve child welfare systems and to support States and Tribes in achieving sustainable, systemic change that results in greater safety, permanency, and well-being for children, youth, and families. NRCIHS will be the primary provider of T/TA regarding effective and promising alternatives to out-of-home placement and will build the capacity of State, local, and Tribal systems to provide services that will ensure the safety and well-being of children in their homes while preserving, supporting, and stabilizing families.
