Grant Description
U.S. Geological SurveyДккs (USGS) Great Lakes Science Center is offering a funding opportunity for research on development of geospatial models for prioritizing coastal wetland and lower river restoration in the Great Lakes basin. This research will support a continued collaboration to spatially and comprehensively assess the Great Lakes landscape for the restoration of both coastal wetlands and lower river areas, which have been explicitly identified as a high priority need in the GLRI Action Plan II, as well as the USGS Science Framework Habitat and Species Theme Objectives, Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, and many other regional, national and binational initiatives.
