Grant Description
The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for ecohydrological field research in Hawaii. The motivation for this work includes (1) improving understanding of how global warming will affect Hawaii's climate; (2) estimating the effects of possible future changes in climate on hydrological and ecological processes in Hawaii, including evapotranspiration, streamflow, groundwater recharge, and carbon exchange; and (3) investigating the impacts of invasive plant species on hydrological and ecological processes in Hawaii's forests.
