Grant Description
The US Geological Survey, Kentucky Water Science Center, is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner to assist in establishing and operating a monitoring station on Davis Branch to collect sufficient baseline data about in-stream water-quality parameters, stream discharges, and sediment loads (suspended sediments and bed loads) in Davis Branch, and to create a new numerical modeling tool that will help predict stream discharge and sediment transport variability in Davis Branch under existing conditions and during and after the implementation of yet-to-be-determined stream restoration measures.
