The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a partner of the Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit for the purpose of conducting a joint modeling study to estimate the current and potential distributions of carbon stocks and ecosystem carbon sequestration capacities, and understand effects of climate change, natural ecosystem disturbances, and land management on ecosystem functions and processes.
