Grant Description
The USGS is offering a funding opportunity for analysis of existing data on how fire managers and researchers use and access fire science information. An additional goal of this project is to use existing data to identify the top ten fire science information needs in oak dominated forests in the Midwest. Data should include a survey of prescribed fire and wildfire managers and researchers from the following states: Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
