NO COMPETITION IS EXPECTED. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. This agreement is being implemented to provide financial assistance in helping inform management of Flammulated Owls by monitoring their abundance and habitat occupancy using standard protocols used by the FWS and partners across other western States. The Flammulated Owl is a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (2008) Bird of Conservation Concern. Data gained from this project will help determine management responsibility and support effective tri-national conservation planning efforts for this important species. In addition, the agreement implements Peregrine Falcon monitoring in Washington in accordance with the Service•À_s Peregrine Falcon post-delisting monitoring plan, implemented every 3 years from 2003-2015 across the nation.
