Grant Description
Tasks to be performed under this agreement: Collect (on a limited schedule) pollinators at poppy flowers and at co-blooming species in four populations (Beehive Dome, Webb Hill or Red Bluff, Shinob Kibe, Warner Ridge) over the entire course of the blooming season (late March/early April to mid/late May). Observe the behavior of bees on the flowers with the objective of determining their import as pollinators. Gather estimates of fruit set and seed production of selected plants at each of these same four populations. Conduct a more intensive study of the pollinators of A. humilis than has been conducted in recent years.
