Grant Description
Funds under this award are to be used to place mange-preventive collars on at-risk kit foxes and perform follow-up monitoring to detect differences in mange incidence as a result of the intervention. University of California, Davis (UCD) staff will monitor mange incidence in the surrounding two study sites with remote cameras at bait stations and Sarcoptes mite PCR in feces near bait stations, and telemetry. This award is made under the authority of: Endangered Species Act of 1973, 16 U.S.C. 1531 et. seq, as amended.
