Grant Description

The Recipient will: - Identify and contact appropriate workshop representatives of the target audiences (i.e., researchers addressing science in the geographies of interest, resource managers who use the science to make conservation delivery decisions). Original Points of Contact to be provided by SRLCC staff. - Develop workshop agendas, solicit key presenters and resource managers, and advertise/promote attendance. - Obtain venues and organize logistics for hosting workshops. - Document discussions, decisions, and outcomes of each workshop. - Based on the results of the Connections Workshops, identify and collate the existing management/conservation objectives of specific SRLCC partners for resources identified in the workshops (resources and partners to be identified collaboratively by SRLCC and CNHP staff). - Identify and collate specific conservation delivery capabilities and actions of targeted entities. - Identify and collate opportunities for the SRLCC to complement other partners___ research and fill crucial gaps. - Provide deliverables in the form of: o Two workshops: one in the Rio Grande focal area and one in the Four Corners focal area. o Written report summarizing each Connections Workshops___ methods, discussions, decisions and outcomes. o Compilation of SRLCC partners___ stated management objectives for Focal Resources within each Focal Area
