Grant Description
The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows: 1.Three meetings between Ute Indian Tribe (Tribe) representatives and contractors selected by the Tribe. 2.One public scoping meeting for the proposed Sclerocactus Conservation Management Plan on Ute Indian Tribe lands and the associated Environmental Assessment (EA). 3.Three meetings between the Tribe, US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) and selected contractors for the purpose of ESA Section 7 consultation. 4.Development of a draft Sclerocactus Conservation Management Plan on Ute Indian Tribe lands and draft EA for review. 5.Development of a final Sclerocactus Conservation Management Plan on Ute Indian Tribe lands and final EA that incorporates comments and necessary revisions from the Tribe and USFWS. 6.Final copy of the Sclerocactus Conservation Management Plan on Ute Indian Tribe lands in hard and electronic form.
