Grant Description
Tasks to be completed: 1. Test seed germination of wild vs. culture produced seeds of autumn buttercup. 2. Initiate and maintain autumn buttercup in tissue culture. The number of propagules depends upon the availability of seeds and germination results. A specific number is not required to meet the requirements of this contract; however, the minimum goal is 400 plants. 3. CREW will maintain the autumn buttercup plants until the Arboretum at Flagstaff is prepared to receive and acclimate them at their facility.
