Grant Description
The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows: help fish hatcheries establish and setup friends groups, provide financial assistance for educational programs, to work with conservation groups on programs for the benefit of the public. This Single Source Award is being awarded in accordance with Department of the Interior Policy 505 DM 2.14 B (2) Continuation - The activity the award will fund is necessary for the satisfactory completion of, or is a continuation of, an activity we are funding, and holding a competition would have a significant adverse effect on continuing or completing the already funded activity. AND (4) Unique Qualifications - The applicant is uniquely qualified to perform the activity based upon a variety of demonstrable factors such as location, property ownership, voluntary support capacity, cost-sharing ability, if applicable, technical expertise, or other such unique qualifications which allows for award without competition to an applicant. This recipient and project meet this criteria due to prior grant over the last five years accomplishing and establishing these goals/programs.
